Just got this call on my cell... I hit ignore because I didn't know the number. No message was left.
And I am an AT&T subscriber. I don't know if it is related but International Winners (a scam group) call me from Jamaica all the time. If you get calls from them...area code 876 do not answer. They will try very hard to convince that you have won over a million dollars and a brand new luxury vehicle. My guy tried to feed me some bs about how he was raised not to lie and that he'd shame his mother and god if he did. Right. Look at International Winners and you'll see, these guys are pretty bad. I think the call from LA area code 985 might be related- as far where they got everyone's number from.
Just got this call at 7:34pm (pacific time) in Seattle, WAI did not answer. I Googled and landed here to check the number. After reading the replies... this has scam written all over. Do not answer strange numbers.
Called my cell about 3 min ago--recorded msg in spanish--roughly "attention--you are eligible for a free gift" and then I hung up.
calls received today from this number without leaving a voice message. If you try to call back it says the number no longer exists.
