Got a call from 989-854-2368 on my cell phone. It is a scam call and I am on the do not call list. When attempting to tell the caller this, they immediatly hang up. This is not the first time this has happened.
Not sure about you are anyone else on here, but I was laid off recently and have been actively (6 to 8 hours a day) job searching online and sendng my resume w/contact info out a lot the last couple of weeks. No surprise that these calls all of a sudden after almost 10 years w/the same number and no problems, are starting to appear "out of the blue". Its unreal to me how many people are out there waiting and hoping to prey on those of us who are facing tough times. I desperately want to pick up the phone and have an offer for an interview or a position .. instead most of the time I pick up and hear a recorded message like this one.
Credit card company - when you press 1 asking them if they have checked the DO NOT CALL list, they immediately hang up - sign that they know they are doing something wrong.
This number called my cell number I didn't answer and will not answer, called back from my office landline as I always do when I get an unknown number on my cell and it just has a long busy signal sound. RUDE, they need to stop. I will call 911 if they call my number again.
Missed a call on my cell a few hours ago. All of a sudden I'm getting calls from random unknown numbers and there are always numerous complaints about them online. Filing reports with the FCC and DNC registry on all 3 of them. One was reportedly to reduce my mortgage rate and I don't own any real estate!
Obviously this caller is problematic and stinks of a scam -- someone needs to shut the junk down.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
