The DNC list is real but only pertains to actual legit businesses, not people who are trying to scam you out of information
The phone company really needs to address this issue - everyone is getting calls, what a nuisance and what no call list - it really does not exist, it is just a scam.
Called me. Offered the ability to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. Problem is, I don't have any. My ex wife does, and I'm not the least bit responsible for them. I pressed "1" to talk to a representative. Before I could get two words out about why he shouldn't be contacting me. He hung up. Any more, the next contact they'll receive from me will be from my attorney.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.
