1998-106-9899they called my cell phone pretending that i called them..i looked at the history and i didnt even have the number on my cell....it is a scam but not sure why.

Received 2 calls on my cell and 3 calls on my home phone on 11/1. I didn't recognize the number 998-106-9899 so I did not answer it and they did not leave a message.

received a call from this number had no idea where/what it was from. anyways the caller left a message and it was indeed a friend of mine on vacation in mexico at this moment.so i've no issues with this phone number. buddy said he was using a long distance phone card.

just got a 2 phone calls from 9981069899 after the first call i found this site and then got the 2nd call from a person lookin for some named Frank A.i asked the caller if they were in Cancun ,Mexico and he said yes so i told him have a good time...hahahahah

I recieved a call on my cell phone from this phone number and it turned out to be a friend of mine at a hotel using a long distance phone card vacationing Cancun, Mexico.

i got a phone call from this number and it turned out to be from my sister who is vactioning in Cozumel. She didn't say if it was a phone card or not.

Got two calls from this number. One at 8:49pm and 8:50pm. They did leave a voicemail.

got a call from my parents vacationing in cancun, cannot call the number from the states (so I'd have to assume that it is in fact a calling card id number)--reception was very hit or miss, but I got to hear them say hello. . .

The call was from a realitive on vacation. He called from his cell phone and the cell phone service provider showed up on our caller id as the 998-106-9899 even though he was using his own cell phone
