It shows up as unavailable. The person is heard saying my name, as if on a speakerphone then mumbles and I can't make out anything else. The call only lasted about 7 seconds.

My brother was vacationing outside of the US and his phone carrier temporarily assigned him this number. Turns out its probably been assigned to hundreds of different people over the years.

I also got a call from that number, it was my son saying he arrived in Cancun

I called the number and it said not available it was a recording not v.m

I received a call from this number 543 am and then the next day at 1130am. Called back said phone was disconnected. Answered once and heard nothing.. My boyfriend is in Cancun. He was probably trying to call as i see a lot of these posts are saying from Cancun.. Thanks for the info :) weird how we all got the same number lol

cell phone companies often assign a generic number when a foreign cell phone is roaming, it is only for the billing purpose and to be able to access the long distance network, it is a phantom number that is created, the call is made, billed then the number no longer existed and will be re used by another client. this happens when the local foreign cell provider can not communicate your number to the network or is not a valid format

I have been getting harassing phone calls at all hours of the day and night from this number. Last night two calls, one at 1:11AM and one at 1:15AM, I unplugged my phone after that so I could sleep. Today that same number called me twice again at 10:05AM and 10:07AM. This has to be stopped.When I called the number back the message was from the phone company with the tone and the message saying "The number you have called is not valid or is not in service." Every time they call there is loud head banging music in the background with people laughing and talking. My husband answered the phone last night the second time and after a minute they hung up on him.

Actually three calls, two on Jan 26, the last on Feb 1. All from family vacationing in Cancun on the days received and perhaps assigned as a temporary phone number. The timing of all three of these calls is consistent with when we were at the Cancun airport. All other calls during the vacation week logged as the correct phone numbers.
