999-999-9999 / 9999999999

I just received a call from 1-999-659-042 (yes this was the actual number that showed up, notice it's missing a digit). I did not answer but I will be raising all sorts of inferno if this charges starts showing up on my bill. I don't have a husband/ bf or go to porn sites, so I'm wondering if someone is playing a really bad joke and entering my number.

Every one should know that 999-999-9999 is the hot line from heaven. It was GOD calling. He is busy at times, and misdialed. HE was probably ordering a pizza with extra angelchovies.

Well to tell all of you the truth, the 9999999999 I just figured out. I looked on my cell number through verizon and then looked at my husbands. His Minutes have the 99999999999 on it but mine just has his name. Same exact time and minutes we both talked. I navigation on my droid was on at the time so I am thinking it had to do with the internet being used while talking on the phone. Believe me, I was fixing to throw a hugh fit...So I called verizon and they said it was the internet usage being charged, but I guess that is what they are trained to do when they don't know the answer! So the next time you think anyone is messing around, compare your time you talked to that person with their current usage.

I had this same number on my business landline caller ID at 8:30 am today. I think it may be a companies way of blocking their number. I paid my Verizon cell phone bill last night & they always ask if you want to do a customer survey when finished & they will call you back in an hour or the next morning-on the same phone you called from. Well they never called back last night & that is the only number on my caller ID this morning that I don't recognize.

i have recieved three calls from this number (999-999-9999) today alone. It is the first time I have gotten calls from this number. I dont answer but it is annoying!

But do you have to pick up the call? I just don't answer them. Just moments before I got a call from an 846 area code number. There ought to be a law against unwanted tracking like that.

I got a phone call just now from 999-999-9999, I knew it was a scam or spam phone call of some sort and have been getting calls for several days and have just sent it to voice mail. Finally in frustration I answered it to see what was going on. Got a person who sounded Indian but who really knows. The scam is that supposedly the government has a $7,000 grant for me. This grant was determined by a search of public records to find out I had not been arrested or filed bankruptcy in the last 6 months, yada yada. They can deposit the money in my account with in 30 minutes? ya right, hung up.

My cousin is deployed in Afghanistan and whenever he gets the chance to call me, it comes up as Restricted or Unavailable. On my bill, it shows up as 9999999999. If you have any friends or family that are deployed and likely to call you at some point, it's probably them.
