Hurricane relief plan number; area code '999' has been assigned by nanpa (nanpa.com). When there is no disaster, the number is unidentified; 'your call cannot be completed as dialed'. During hurricane Katrina, nanpa posted 999-999-9999 as a relief plan for all southerners in the USA. Caller ID spoofers also gain power to spoof their number using services listed below. I got a text message displaying the phone number of 999-99 and a text message that did not make any sense. I have been stalked using caller id spoofing for six years, and I am wondering if this is the same person who is stalking me.

Got a call from 999-999-9999. My caller ID verbalized "invalid number" and I didn't answer.

got a call 6/20/07 at 6:36 PM on my cellphone we didnt answer and it was not the first time we got a call from that number

999-999-9999 keeps showing up on my verizon bill using ungodly minutes. When I called verizon they say they can't tell me anything other than it's a land line. Privacy issues. They did say that if the number is in your contact list it will show up on your caller id as the number but will show up as 9999999999 on your bill meaning it is a blocked number. I've changed my daughters phone twice now and am still having this problem. So I am starting to think they might be right. I don't know. All I do know is that my bill was three times its normal amount and that isn't much fun.

got the call on 07/29/2009. it says Sun Loan Company. Try to call it back and it immediatley disconnects.

Just received a call from this "number." Ranged once, and hung up.

Called a few times, within the last few days. Kind of annoying, but I am not planning on answering, especially now that I know more than likely a hoax, crank, or collector.

Must be fake ID #. I get calls a few times a month. Sometimes a message is left that says its "very important" I return their call. If it was so important, they'd tell me why in the message. They do not identify themselves.
