Picked up the call and it stated that my Social Security number had compromising activity. That I needed to call a number and if I didn't there would be legal action against me.

I think this is a verification from Google Messages, however, it was delayed several hours showing up on PC Web Messages for Google's service. The original code was sent to my cell for activation which worked.
