Received call stating from Social Security and the reason was my Social Security was going to be cancelled due to drugs, and wanted my name and social security number, which I did not share with the individual and hung up

Received a call saying it was Social Security, it was a robo message, not a live person, so I checked here to see if it's a scam and it seems to be just that.

This number has called me every day for a solid 2 weeks, sometimes more than once a day. I tried to text them and say "please stop" but they do not receive text messages. If I answer I fear they will think they have me.

I got the call on 7 Dec 2019. Did not pick up. We do not answer anonymous or unknome calls.

Same thing happened to me - When i picked up he said "sorry someone just came into my office I need to call you back". Then they called back and hung up.
