Caller said she was calling on behalf of the Daily News Miner, our local paper (Fairbanks, AK), caller ID identified it as coming from Chico, CA.

This call came on my cell phone claiming my user id was compromised for my bank and click on this link to fix it. Ya, I dint click on it but went to my bank and sure enough, my account is just fine.

I realize this process takes time, just wanted to include number with this and hope I don't have to bother you further with this.

I've answered a couple times and no one ever responds on the other end of the line.

Phone number was included in a phishing email. Email included an attachment with a virus.

I googled the number and I found that many other people have been being bombarded with the same phone number.

this may be hilton corporation timeshares offering discount vacations in conjunction with a timeshare presentation.

Texted me a picture of a 20's woman provocatively posing in bed asking if I wanted to do something with her while she was in town since she just broke up with an ex.

This number was listed on Craigslist to call if you wanted to rent MY condo. I own the condo and it's not for rent! It's a scamner trying to get deposits out of people. Beware!!!

Each time they call I tell them to not call again and each time they become belligerent and try to argue with me.

Another missed call, White Pages says VoIP Cox. Called the number back with my number blocked and the number is unreachable.

Missed call, blocked my number and called back, The Subscriber is not in Service? White Pages has a name for this number as does Google. This also looks like a spoofed number that kept calling last year as with other 248 numbers.

This person put MY condo for rent on Craigslist and pretended to be the owner. It's a scam to try to get renter's deposits. I reported it to Craigslist and it was removed but he/she will strike again. Beware!
