Received a call today regarding a website registration renewal for $100/year. That’s very steep just to renew for one year. We have no expiring domains.

When I told her I would not give her that info, she promptly hung up.

Illegal phishing scam

Received an automated call from this number. Stated they were from the social security office and were calling about suspicious activity under my SSN.

Claimed to be an investigator for SSA. I gave my SS# No info identifying phone #. Location Chicago. Claim of criminal investigation. I’ll update w/i 24 hrs as to threat or not. Winterhawk
