scam trying to get me to extend a warranty on a car that I do not have anymore. They keep calling with a different number everytime. but use the 939 ******x numbers.

I got a call from this number wich I missed, I returned the call and it didn't even ring once a Male voice immediately answered social security administration hello? I hung up immediately. And I get this call several times a week.
I get at least 5 calls pet week.

Calling the number back yields the same thing.
They keep leaving me voicemails claiming to be the Social security administration. I know Social Security would never call anyone with such matter. They always mail you information, never call. Do not fall for this. Its a total scam!!!!!!! Scam suspicion

the recorded message pertained to credit card interest rates, and had nothing to do with UPS

i got the exact same message. it doesn't sound like a real government department.
Caller stated they were from the "Medicare Department" and needed to confirm my info. Obviously they spoofed a local number.
