Hey - this is just someone using yahoo sms messaging from free yahoo mail. I think they only have so many numbers, so it shows up for multiple people.

Yea i just got this email from a amy_82ko saying and i qoute "waaup a friend of mine gave me your number, and thought we could meet up sometime. come msg me if you're interested, at dateoplace.org". now i went there and gave up trying to find who in the world text me at two in the morning. I dont like it and i dont appreciate it. Will they keep txting me or is that the last i have to worry about it.

This is the number that shows up when you send a text using Yahoo. I use it to text my son since I don't have a text plan on my cell phone and he does.

If it comes from Yahoo messenger, how can you tell where within the Yahoo network it came from. Whaty country? Of do I need to contact Yahoo?

HERE'S THE SCOOP....Yahoo SMS usually sends texts from the Yahoo IM with the number 92466, which spells Y-A-H-O-O on the standard US keypad.However, text messages from Yahoo INDIA (in.yahoo.com), a separate service altogether, will appear to have come from number 1-111-044-0601. Despite both belonging to Yahoo, the two services are independent as far as I can tell. In fact, you can have the same username on Yahoo-USA and Yahoo-India.So, it appears that you folks are getting text messages from someone using the Yahoo-India SMS service, and not the Yahoo-USA service.However, anyone in the world can sign up for Yahoo-India. So, there's no way to tell who's texting you or where they are located.

Hi,I think this is the same man that keeps texting me on my cell phone,he said the same thing to me but on yahoo he goes by james_txt101.He just texted me about 10 mintues ago.I am getting really tired of it,i wish there was a way to stop it.
