This number called me twice within a minute. I was not around to pick it up. Glad I found this site otherwise I probably would have picked up out of curiosity.
The last call of this nature was from "Mark Antony" in India claiming to be from Windows IT department. I just listened and when he asked if I could hear I said I was just waiting to hear what story he came up with. When he launched into something about my computer I said "what computer?" He finally hung up.This sounds like phishing scams to me. They are masking their own identity and location.I think it is important to give out no answers, even a yes or no. Next time I will just say "what is your phony story this time?"
I just received a call from 123-456-7890, and i didnt answer. They left a message and when i listened to it, it was as the same as "Lynnb" message. I hope nobody got caught because it may be a way to send you phone bills of 1000$!!!! Anyway don't answer to this number, this is way too weird lol. Sorry for my bad english, i'm french =)
Just got a call (had them before), next time, since I have caller ID, I'll use a whistle. I hope someone is on the other end and can blow out an eardrum
I have received calls from this number literally hundreds of times over the last year and a half. Have answered on several occasions and it generally was a Canadian Pharmacuticals company looking to sell viagra or cialis. Have did everything from asking them to quit calling to threatening to kill them(generalloy a hindu accent). The calls keep coming three to six times a day from this and several other numbers. Tried reporting it to FCC, but, they don't care?????? Was told by phone service to just change number and hope they don't find it out?? What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 123-456-7890 telemarketing issue. It is a company telemarketing from the far east - probably India, for some reason they do not have to follow the Do Not Call list and can get through with false numbers or Not-Avaiable ID, even with Call Blocking (that is the way the the law was set up). It seems they where trying to sale medicine and that is the third time today - very irritating! How can this be stopped?
got a call from this number, was an automated voice *sey female voice* telling me i was elligible for reduced rates on my credit cards but was for a limited time, press 1 to take advantage immediatly, they wanted all my card info, plus expiry date plus 4 didget code on the back, since i am nofool i terminated the call, why should i make it easy for them to clone my cards and steal my identification
