been getting calls from these guys since I changed my number and pay an unlisted fee to get away from this BS .... its amazing how our judicial system and law enforcement can bust and prosecute someone stealing a loaf of bread from Walmart but allows these guys to invade my home on a daily basis - no call list or not! tell your MP that we need some control over this crap ... its supposed to be a democracy isn't it?
this number (123-456-7890) appeared on my id caller. I didn't answer. They left a message talking about lowering my interest rate on my credit card....but i have no credit card, never have, never will!!!
My mom keeps getting these calls from this number the past few days. My mom's even yelled at them once to stop calling but they continue to do so, so yesterday when they called again she told me to talk to them. My mom clicks on "talk" and shoves the phone to me which made me angry later because if she hadn't, I could have seen the phone number and known it was a scam and just hung up on them or something. Instead, I talk to them to see what they wanted and the Indian accented guy said they were from Primus wanting to lower my long distance rates. They asked for my dad's name and I said he wasn't around. So then he started to ask me questions saying "I see you are with Bell Canada" (which we're not) but I was just like "yeah" and then he reiterated my address to me and I confirmed then he asked for my name so I was like "Ifram Chicago" and then asked for my birthday and that's when I knew it was totally a scam call. I kept asking why he needed my birthday and he couldn't give a good reason so I told him I'd call Primus when I want to and he kept saying "Are you sure? I just need your birthday and we're done" and I'm like "yeah, good bye" but he was aggressive and was like "but we are close to being done" and I was just like "no, bye!"Today they keep calling though and we just pick up and hang up right away. I'm really tempted though to make a creepy "I'm going to kill you" voice the next time they call though in hopes they'd maybe STOP CALLING ALREADY! They are really getting annoying. We also got a 000-000-0000 call last night too and it was some recorded message saying "Hello, this is your Captain speaking..." I pressed # and hung up. I really hope it's true about the # ruining their machines! Why aren't there people out there trying to stop this quickly?!?! And why don't those scammers learn when people aren't fooled so they should stop trying?!?!
This is Time Warner Cable calling to check to see if you have any problems with their service since the Hurricane.
LOL! please continue to do that! say something else like you'll kill everyone they call and get them last or something in hopes they'll stop harassing people! they are getting so irritating!!!
This is a strange number. They must have faked it. The call showed up as "Unknown Caller" on my callerid.
Just got my first call from that 123-456-7890 number. Does anyone really know if repeatedly pressing # screws up their system?
