Got the call last night. I asked the caller if he did not have the 'no call list" in front of him. Then I went off on him, while he sputtered in a foreign language - or maybe it was English, hard to tell! Anyway he said I would not receive any more calls from Sears. Different from what I have read from others on this site - but I don't need anyone calling me and trying to sell me crap.
I had a call from 123-456-7890 with a message saying they were going to lower my credit card costs. (I don't have any)I pressed "1" just to see who they were.A guy with a heavy Indian/Packistan accent asked if I pressed "1" to lower my interest.I said "who the hell are you people" to which he replied "go F yourself A-hole"I hope he calls back
Asking them to take you off the calling list does not work. I requested that about 2 months ago and the individual (a male with a thick accent) was very rude and kept yelling at me "Mame, I am just trying to save you money!". I finally hung up. They called again last night. It is frustrating.
They said the call was from the US Chamber of Commerce and asked me to call my Republican senator regarding a bill being voted on today.
I still can't understand how anyone trying to make any sort of money goes through these routines of bogus phones and then hang up. It's one thing if we hangup on them but when they hangup on us when answering is beyond me.I've heard that sometimes it's a computer (autodialer) looking for active numbers. If they score someone will cal back later with their legit (although still a scam) phone call.I wish people would get real jobs
I am constantly getting calls from 1-123-456-7890do you think it has something to do with our phone provider. I use wintel.I pickup and noone is at the other end

This number calls my cell phone frequently attempting to get credit card infomation. They claim I've purchased items from them before and want to know if I want a refill. IT's credit card scam so be very aware of it, Do not give any info and if you have the ability to block the number, you should do so
I answered this # a week ago and the man at the other end asked for us by name. We have common last name in the English world but he mispronounced it dreadfully. The connection was very bad so I wonder if this is coming from overseas?Being of so quick wit I told him he had the wrong # and hung up, but from then on I have had 2 more calls from this #.I have learnt never to answer calls without your reading glasses on!PS> I reverse searched this in Sasktel and there were 3 matching #s in Canada.
