Received a text asking me to follow a link and verify the receipt of 42 bitcoin. Obviously I didn't follow it.
I got a text telling my to email some email address about one of my deceased relatives inheritance. No recently deceased. Spam don't bother.
Text from a different number than that given in the message, saying to call immediately regarding a card having been put on hold.
Received a text message : Your debit card has been put on hold. PLEASE contact us immediately at:1-877-229-6119 end verify your info.Guess what, I do not have a debit card.
Just received a text from this number that reads:FRM: 18332040733MSG: You have received a new PenFed message. Your atm card balance fell to -20.00$ on 08/23/2017. Call your support immediately 1-833-204-0733My sister got a similar text this morning:FRM:18882356488MSG: Important! Your PenFed card has been put on hold. Saying postal redelivery unit when called. What?
I didn't accept the call and they did not leave any voice message
I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
