Just fax them a letter stating that the shipment was not authorized. Tell them to send a UPS or Fed Ex pick up for the package and refuse to pay. Don't back down, I deal with scum bag scammers like this all the time. You shouldn't have to pay one penny - including shipping. Don't worry, the BBB will protect you.

They got my mechanic on the phone and said they were verifying the shipping address, making it sound like another person in our company placed the order and he was just confirming the details, which he did. I tried to call the company after getting an invoice and got rude responses. Sent a fax detailing the event, saying I wouldn't pay, and asking for a physical address. Someone named Don Turner (maybe?) replied via fax that our invoice is a "Legit Debt" and that the BBB knows the verify product orders as if to say the BBB agrees with their tactics. At this point, I am on hold for over 5 minutes waiting for "Don Turner".

This is a scam as all other posters have mentioned.

The company that I work received a phone call from 800-535-4077 from a girl named Jessica with a compnay called Horizon Products. Stating to me that someone at our company had ordered product from her. It's funny that the person she names that ordered it doesn't have authority to order anything for the company. We have a purchase order system and she told me it was a "verbal" purchase order. Complete BS. These people actually need to leave businesses alone and learn to work in the real world without scamming people.

Hang up on Carol. She is the owners girlfriend. A big ugly scam artists. Sparta Chemicals the same company was in Elmwood Park NJ and Carol Petrak was screwing Dennis the owner of this company and he was still living with his wife. Carol likes to start trouble with the female employees. She is very jealous and ahe has good reason to be. Dennis tries to pick up the female employees and I saw HIM GRIND AGAINST A CERTAIN BLONDE THAT WORKED THERE IN THE PAST. She has been fired because Carol found out..

Just Dealt with this company myself, they also played a recording of a salesmen and myself on the phone, but when I asked a direct question to the salesmen I was Bold Faced lied to... we do not deal with this company and have never dealt with this company. I caught them in the middle of the BS, I told them my ordeal, was told that an email would be sent to a supervisor, I demanded right then and there to speak with said supervisor, was transferred to Carol Petrak, now... since I was lied to I had them by the balls to ZERO OUT my invoice, sent an email to me with a copy of the ZEROED OUT invoice, with S.O numbers and INVOICE numbers matching. I would suggest in further dealings with this company if you are calling and they play your recording to you... that you listen carefully to the questions you ask, and the answers they give you in return. I was told to keep the product and do what I want with it.. and I have invoices and RECORDED conversations of my own with these people.. DONE! Cover your butts as they'll try to cover theirs on all fronts. But giving FALSE information to a CONSUMER is totally a bogus move..

They are a scam, I worked for them for many years, Dennis hit on me constantly, a lot of scams were going on there..He cheated on Carol many of times..Contact the FTC Joel Brewer..He had a good crew of people there Jennifer, Coleen, Dee, Michelle, Nicole,. Tabitha, Michael, Rob and they all left, not fired because he was not paying their employees rather paying his personal expenses, ie Carol's plastic surgery that did no good, his kids college and never paid his x wife Michelle Saccurato a dime for child support or allimoney..He is as crooked as they come..As he use to say Thievery it is..Yes eat those words Dennis..

All calls are recorded, but only the managers verification is played back to the customer when trying to collect money. The customer is not told the call is being recorded until the end of the verification. This was done because of some states laws including Nevada, where one must know the calls are recorded.
