They called my work too saying I had a restraining order was going to be called against me unless I called back within 4 hours. Funny cuz I got the same call like 3 months ago and reported it and they didn't call back until now. It's a scam! I'm glad there are websites like this who can tell me what this is all about. Note that it was a recorded voice as well. Did not give me any information, just to call (which I did and got what sounded like a noise from a fax machine. Ugh! Leave me alone!
caller has a recording that threatens, jail, court, wage garnishment and now a "restraining order" for what. they never say
I love their restraining order routine. They don't even know what one is or what it is for. On the other hand, maybe their watch stopped or they had a flat tire in route? :)
I received a pre-recorded call at my employer today from 212-417-2021 threatening garnishment of my wages and jail.....there is no answer at this number. I understand it is a hoax, but they cannot call my job!!!!!
I just spoke with a man with a foreign accent at this number and told him I do not have a loan with them, never had and never will. I also told him I do not want harrassed at work and will track him down and shove his phone down his throat. The perv asked me if I would lick the phone or take it down the throat! omgosh These people need stopped!
private number left message on my phone to call this number back about a restraining order. I always check this site to see what is going on with these number before calling them back thanks for your input
Like everyone else I just got a call from this number. This week I have been contacted by several different phone numbers that leave a similar message. This call was a recorded message that said I was a "respondent" in a case, that I had 4 hours to call the number, that I had a restraining order against me. I'll be reporting back to this site every few days to update their activities. It's obvious they are attempting a scam of some sort.
I've also started to get hit with their phone calls, and it just started this past week. I've been saving their messages. I'm writing the FTC, among other groups, to complain. I'm going to include .mp3 files of their calls and recordings. It would be one thing if they were just bothering me; they are also contacting family members and my former place of employment, which was a Federal job. I'd encourage others to file a complaint, at www.ftc.gov. You can also file a complaint over the phone. It is simple, and only takes a few minutes.
This number shows as no caller ID, but they leave a voicemail stating a name of some person (not my name) has four hours to respond to this number or some litigation will go forward to garnish wages. I guess I will have all no caller ID blocked if they will do it. I will also report this. Unreal that people will give these scams money.
