I received a missed call that left a voicemail (because I don't answer restricted calls) saying I had a restraining order placed against me... blah blah you have 4 hours to respond or we will call your employer and notify them to revoke your pay or something. These people need to be taught a lesson!

Got a call from these people about 30 min ago. So I called back immediately to find out what , who, where this loan came from. They told me over 10 years ago and that legal actin is taking place. I had to call back 3 time because the reps. were hanging up on me. The last time I called I never told her my name she just had my information on hand. I told them when I see paper work as to who, when, where this took place I had nothing else to say. Point blank they couldn't provide any information on this so called loan just a settlement. When I said I have no idea what this is she said have your attorney call us or the courts. I said OK what court system she couldn't answer then said the state of Richmond!

I just got the exact same phone call at 10:22 AM. Not the first time. Leaving this kind of message on a voicemail is illegal. I only answered this phone call this time around, even though it said Unknown Caller because I am expecting a call from my doctor and that is what it says when his office calls.

Same thing just happened to me. This is the fourth time I get a call like this. This needs to stop ASAP! I say we take these [***] down!!!

I got the same call, but played the joke on them. I went along with their scam and acted like I was so scared and didn't want to go to jail. I told them I will pay it now. For 20 minutes went along with it and then they put a lady on to get my payment. Asked for credit card # , they were so happy until I sed, 4300 KISS MY [***]. LOL IT'S ALL A SCAM DON WORRY PEOPLE

Got this call on my cell and my wife's cell twice last week. Saying it was based on a BofA default of mortgage. I called BofA first. The first clue was my wife's info is NOWHERE on the mortgage since I bought before we were married. I have been aware of phone scams for awhile and always go the "named" issuer first. I got a response from the 202 number just saying litigation, no company name or address after me arguing I got a name from her as Noni Henderson. Reported the number and her name to BofA but nothing they can do. I just hope people learn to google these numbers first before calling back to see its a scam first and than waste the time of the people on the other end. I did I talked about Pizza for 10 minutes

I just received the same exact call.. These people cannot threaten u or call ur job.. Yo have dealt with debt collectors in the past and they always sent letters.. I will not call them back.. Oh, and i also did reverse phone number on this number.. Came back with an invalid phone number.. So they are hiding and scamming.

I REPORTED 866-676-2361 AND 202-417-2021 TO THE FBI TODAY!Every year I get a call from 866-676-2361 or some other number claiming that I owe money for the Cash Store and that they are sending a summons etc. if I do not pay right away. About 3 years ago, I fell for it as they had my SS # and stated the 'Cash Store' which I had used MANY years ago and had paid (or so I thought), so I paid them money and they stated they would send me a letter..I never received it, even after I called them again about it. Since then, I have received calls each year at the same time until I call them back and give them a piece of my mind. I told them last yr if they called again I would report them. (He never called again). I received a call a couple weeks ago and I told them I was reporting them to the FBI. She sent me an email stating that the 'debt' had been paid. I still have this copy. I received another call today from 202-417-2021. An automated message stating that I had until the end of the day to pay for bank/check fraud. I did not call them back and suspect that if I do, they will again be claiming I owe money to the 'Cash Store'. I am sick and tired of these calls. I have checked the number online and all the results state they are all scams. At any rate, I do NOT owe any money and I want these calls to STOP. I would appreciate any information you can give me about how to deal with these idiots and would appreciate that you take some legal action as well to stop this harassment. I received a message on my cell and I called back and told them that if it was a true debt to contact me via mail - they tried to get me to confirm banking information and when you talk to these people like you're smarter than they are they hang up on you. Maybe they need to have a "restraining order" ... big dummy's
