This number belongs to scammers. Hackers. Thieves in internet.. Usually they have African accent. Don't take the call otherwise you are giving permission or authenticate so that they can take over your cell phone.
I received a call from this number at 2:00 AM. I'm in California. I don't answer any calls on this phone except from my doctor or others on a very short list, so obviously I knew it wasn't any of them. Next day, I called back to see who this was - was told number didn't accept messages or something weird. Later that afternoon, I got a call from a number (I'm not kidding) 000-000-000, which had the nerve to leave a message about a "code" (didn't say verification code but I guess that's what they meant) about 7 or 8 numbers long (didn't take it down) Very strange. Obvious fraud but I don't know how or why or if they are connected, but probably they are. : (
I saw a missed call from yesterday on my phone from 202-455-8888 but when I tried to call it back to see who it was a recording said the call cannot be completed.
Just got a call from this number and I didn't answer it. They also sent a two digit code to enter which I didn't. Earlier I received a google verification code before the phone call. I've been scammed before so I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. Thank heavens I didn't answer this one.
