On my Google voice page, I was given a 2 digit number to confirm my landline was still mine. I clicked the button and this number called and asked for my two digit number. They did this for my cell # a while back, also.If you don't have a Google voice number, maybe whoever used to have your phone number does, or someone put in the wrong number.
I meet a someone from zoosk. We talked a lot and she says she will call me but he have to activate something she needs my number so i gave her my number then this number called me she gave me 2 digit numbers so i did verified it. now i guess im being scammed.... damn... what will happen here?
A legitimate call from Google that verifies you in order to activate some specific service.
Was given a text message from another number claiming to be Google. Gave me 2 numbers to enter in. It's not Google. They always send a number at least 5-7 digits long.
Same as other complaints. Received 2 calls on cell giving me a verification code. We do not have a Google account
