They are culling numbers off craigslist, texted from a different number (309) 270-5479 saying they had found my lost dog and could they call me, then sent a code thru text and called from this number to try to get me to put it in
I just received 2 calls from some automated system saying that they were giving me a verification code from Google. I called Google and they do not know what this is about. They say it may be a phishing call but cannot help me. I do not want a virus on my computer. Have no idea why I got this call, but it is the same phone number on my cell phone you reported. Today is May 14th, 2013. .
ya... wrong. because i never set up anything with google. this was a person claiming to want to buy my bow off craigslist. i dint really think much of it then i entered the 2 digit code and it said my account has been activated. cant call them back either. what do i do and what are they trying to get out of me with this scam?

Weirdest [***]... this number called me at 4 a.m and the message is in Chinese. I don't speak Chinese nor do I understand it. So I have no clue what it was about.
I got a text from 1 301 246 0312. The text said that my google account had been hacked. that I should reply by texting send. I did. then i received another text saying that i would receive a phone call and that I should enter the code 72. I received the call, but i did not enter anything. Do you thik I would get scammed somehow for texting SEND. I just learned by reading posts here that by entering the requested codes they can hack your phone. I did not answer the call and I did not enter any codes.
