This is the number for Google Voice. If you - or, in this case, someone else - sets up a Google Voice Account, your cell phone or home phone will receive a call from this number telling you to verify the number by entering a verification code (a 2 to 3 digit code) and then you (or whomever) is set. This number can then be used for numerous things, including making international phone calls. Google the service (or Yahoo it). See what it's for and try and send a message to Google letting them know you did not sign up for this and to delete the account.Please cancel any google voice account for me. Thanks.

Same happen to me. I told them to stop texting & calling because I knew they where a scam. This is the number they used to text ‭+1 (902) 912-0325‬. Than call me with this number ‭+1 (202) 455-8888‬. They asked me to press 26. I said it doesn’t work han he was like press 72. I told them to stop texting me. He said it was not scam. I block both numbers.

Showed up as Washington, DC......left no message....if you don't answer calls from people you don't know they will soon quit calling you.....more often than not they are scams or some debt collector you don't owe. Real callers will leave you a message if it is legitiment.

Happy New Year, and thanks to all for your shared info. For time economy, I only checked out pp 1, 71, and 72 (the last one at this time). Expecting help, I answered a call from 202-455-8888, despite the absence of its source and location on our CID.Concerns: Although the female voice had informed me that no one would ask me for the temporary logging code, it was not encrypted as I typed it up. I proceeded to enter my own new password a few times without success. So I requested and received a new call with a new code as promptly as before. Same result. Suspicious about the un-scriptable code, and of the double reject of my carefully typed new password, I gave up.Tired of increasing, pandemic corruption, and attacks -- which have killed our PC and laptop -- I have slowed down my excursions in web-land. Now I am ready for total detachment. Needed: A safe route to close my web accounts in order to go "email-less" for a while.
