Entered extension 00 to receive phone call when it said your account has been created and to create voice mail or hang ip....seemed very suspicious so I googled the number and found this page. Hope I haven't been hacked.
THIS IS NOT GOOGLE Calling. My phone was cloned and I have been getting calls from this number, a number that people think is craigslist, and MY OWN PHONE Number. DO NOT BELIEVE this is google. You may want to get with your phone company to see about dealing with a potential cloned pone number as well.
If this is from Google, a recording should come on with the necessary info. I just got one, and we blocked it.
Ok all, I wanted to forward my google voice calls to my cell phone, and google had to send me a verification code, to make sure it was really me. That was all it was. A simple google verification number to type into the computer page I was working on. It as straight off my google voice page, so it is not a hack.
It is Google Voice verification number, but if you didn't do anything to initiate such a callback, then its likely a spoof using the GV number.
It is definitely a Google Verification number. All I got was a to digit verification code to enter into my google phone account which I had requested. I could also get it by email from Google but I chose the phone call.If it is anything else then it someone spoofing the number, but it is in fact a Google requested call for verification purposes.
