I am in BC and this is the 3rd call I got from this # . First time I picked up and there was nobody there. Then I didn't pick up anymore. It says Manitoba so I am not calling back either. All together I find not picking up works quite well. After a while they stop. Just some fill up my answering-machine and that is annoying !
Got a call from this number , said they were doing a survey... thats when i hung up ... a$$holes called me back at 9:30pm, i had just got off to sleep... guess who i would like to meet in a dark alley, with no witnesses?
Called, anwering machine picked it up, but they left no message. Caller ID says "Winnipeg, MB."
This number came up on my call display..., it was an energy research group . Probably called to do a survey.
Yes, it is a survey. Wanted to speak to someone regarding our internet and telephone services. I told her that I didn't have a phone ---------- and then I hung up. (lol)

When you answer the phone they hang up. They are trying to see if the number is actually associated with a person or not. Most likely they will clone the number.
