It was my bank - ATB calling to conduct a survey. They left a voice message saying they are only doing a survey, not trying to sell anything and will call back in a few days.

Called number back received message could not come to phone right now. Said they were NRG Reserch group I told them to put my number on their do not call list and advised them as I was on National do not call list they shouldn't even be calling me. If I receive another call from them I will be reporting them to watch dogs for do not call. To do this you have to know the name of company time date etc and also to have advised them to put you on their list not to call.

Please do not give out any information regarding your bank information to anyone over the phone

They asked to speak to someone between the ages of 18 and 64... no hello.... no this is Goofball from harrassment is us... just the question. I told them everyone in the house is under 1 year of age... then added, "Have a horrible day." and hung up.

I believe surveys may be exept from the no call list... might just be for sales calls. I may be wrong but I heard there were loop holes for people not selling things.

The scam behind surveys is they will sell your number to telemarketers who will tell you you'd completed a survey indicating your interest in their product. Always tell them to put your number on their DoNotCall list. Do not say don't call me anymore, you need to say the magic incantation above.

This number called us today (Feb.05/11) and we let it go to voicemail. No message was left. CallerID showed as "unknown name" and we make it a rule not to answer any calls that come from blocked ID or numbers. As this is a long distance call number, we're not about to waste our time and money on calling them back. We have put this number on the blocked list to make sure it won't bother us again. We also have been on the DNC list for some time now (and "renewed" in the last couple of months) but, obviously, this list is not working...

came up on caller ID as "POTS phone MB". Did not pickup. i am on no call list.

My cousin in Lethebridge got calls from them a few times last month, said they were from the Serbian Canadian Society, looking for donations to help defend Serbian war criminals at the Hague. They said the evil west was destroying the Serbian race or something like that, stuff about Karadzic and Mladic being set up and deserving their own flavour of ice cream named after them. Sick people, what do they think were all made of money.

Even on a Sunday Evening... NO CLASS! Didn't answer, just call blocked it
