I got a call from this same number.He said Hi I'm calling to do a survey.I hung up on him and felt bad.But after reading this post I feel great!
Tell you how to fix this problem if you have call display when you see this number or other that you don't know and you have a land line like I do unplug the line this brakes the connection wait 2 or 3 minutes plug the line back in calls again unplug the line again keep doing this over and over again if they want to play games with us lets do it to them let them be upset for a change not us works for me.You have to be home and see the number for this to work
They said they were calling from a non emergency 911 number and asked if i accidently called 911 on May 29th....so weird
I received repeated calls from this number at 6:30 pm August 26, 2011, while I was out blissfully relaxing on my backyard swing wrapped in a blanket enjoying my novel with the sounds of the crickets chirping in the woods. I too am registered on a "Do Not Call List." It hasn't made one bit of difference. In fact, I've had more calls than ever lately. Grrrrr. I wish so much they would all go away. Thanks for letting me vent.

When you answer the phone they hang up. They are trying to see if the number is actually associated with a person or not. Most likely they will clone the number.
