These folks have called me on my personal cell and at my work, for a debt that my FAMILY MEMBER has. They sure do like playing dirty. Letting me, a third party, know of another person's debt. Trying to ruin MY rep by contacting my workplace and making it look like I'm irresponsible with my finances and getting debt collection calls, when I have NOTHING to do with the situation. Trying to pressure my family member by damaging their rep with family and friends because they can't get to them directly by harassing their personal/work numbers. Seriously. How low can these companies sink?

These people are ruthless! I just checked my credit score and they just brought it down over 100 points claiming I have a debt with them!!! Can they do this? I contested it on my credit report so I hope it works!

Thank you! I am about to go to the post office and send them my Cease and Desist letter. I am also finishing up reading the articles/links you attached. I disputed it on my credit report and should hear back within 30 days. is there anything else I should do? We just moved and these people found our new home number and then just started calling my husbands cell phone! How on earth did they get his cell number?

Stop calling me

Woke me up at 7:00 am. I thought it had to be an emergency, my kids or grandkids needing help at that time of the morning, and I didn't look at Caller ID before I answered. If I had been fully awake, I would have blasted this woman for continuing to call my number and asking for someone who DOES NOT LIVE HERE! Why can't these idiots get it that they are calling the wrong number? I report them, but they just change numbers and keep harassing me!
