Yes - This number is legit. I had a problem with an Amazon order. I actually screwed up my order and ordered the wrong item. This was their call back number, and they called me IMMEDIATELY after I clicked "Call Me Now".
Called me twice which I ignored both times, then I found this site and saw it might be Amazon. So when it called a 3rd time I answered. It is Amazon as I had recently sent an email complaining about the USPS not delivering a package and they were calling to get it sorted out.
They were claiming to be investigating my account. When I told them I didn't what they were talking about they hung up.
No, no, no. It is a legitimate Amazon number. They may have been given the wrong number to call and ended up with you, but it is real. I just talked to them after asking them to call me and they called from this number.
I just got a call from this number after my one star review went live on Amazon. My caller id said it was from Washington State.I had an icky feeling when I saw it was from Washington State (Amazon home). Then I read these posts that is was Amazon. While writing this I just received an email from "Amazon".It starts off "I'm sorry to hear about the issues that you have experienced with the Fire Tablet...."I NEVER gave them permission to contact me. This seems really shady to me. I'm wondering if some scammers are scrapping reviews in hopes to trick customers? Idk I don't like it.
