I've been getting 2-3 calls per day at work from (208) 327-1751, which I have learned is Sturner Klein. When I answer with my very long company ID, the computer-dialed system hangs up. Of course, when I call back I get an opportunity to talk back to a computer. Through an online business listing, I found an alternate number for this company, (301)881-2720. A real person answered on the first ring and promised to remove my number from their list. Problem (hopefully) solved!

Received several calls over a period of a week. Calls were at different times of the day. Answreing machine came on, but no person leaves a message. We are on the do not call list.

Telemarketing calls can be reported to the FCC, and they will follow-up with the calling party. If found to be a telemarketer who has no legitimate business calling you, they can be fined $10,000.See WWW.FCC.GOV amd look for the 'caller complaints' entry on the left side fo the page.

Call rcvd at 11:05 a.m. Didn't recognize Caller ID of Sturner Klein, so didn't answer. They left no msg. Looked it up online. Only clue so far is "Yellow Mountain Imports." Am on the no-call list, but am not surprised. Have rcvd lots of calls regardless, from all sorts of telemarketers.

I worked for S&K for a few weeks in late '06, so here's the deal:1.) They keep calling back because workers are paid on a bonus system based on how a call is "disposed". IF they dispose of a call with "not interested" or "do not call", they are dinged. If they dispose of a call with "not home" or "call back in 30 minutes", it doesn't hurt their bonus. Bad system encourages bad practices. 2.) No one at the other end -- The telemarketer does not dial. He/she waits for a "ping" sound in their headset. At this time, the recipient of the call has already said "hello" -twice-. That "ping" is the ONLY indication that someone has answered. If they have their headset off, or are taking a sip of coffee, too bad. 3.) No message on machine -- It's a huge, major no-no with them. Never leave a message. I got chewed out royal one time for that one... 4.) Nobody returns calls -- The system is totally automated. Agents just take "pings" and talk, without a break. All the lines are outbound only, pretty much. BTW, all their calls are recorded. They don't have to tell you because Idaho allows this practice. I will say that they are VERY sticky on agent honesty, and don't tolerate unethical sales practices. Agents are required to follow a script pretty much verbatum, and I've been dinged for things that I considered trivial, like having a secretary renew a free magazine subscription instead of the principal. The company's business is mainly renewing subscriptions for magazines and AOL. I quit when they put me on a campaign of magazine renewal where almost all of the customers were mentally impaired senior citizens. It broke my heart to take their money. OTOH, there was CFO magazine (Chief Financial Officer) which was an excellent free magazine for financial executives, which was a pleasure. I got to talk to Enron's CFO and get the skinny on the company... it wasn't all that big. Hehe.. .

I have been receiving calls from 1-208-327-1751 about 12 times a day... Its insane but finding this site was helpful and I filed a complaint with the FTC but still nothing. If your phone company has a black listing service I suggest that you try since that seemed to work best for me.

As with other complaintants, I have been recieving calls from Sturner Klein at late hours, even on Sundays, in spite of the fact that I am on the Do Not Call List. I'm reluctant to pick-up, but DO want this to stop!

I just have been receiving several calls from this number. Like others, they don't leave any messages, but call at least two to three times daily. Is there anyway to stop them from calling?
