Just got the call. Woman claimed she was authorized by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Health and CDC and that my phone number had been chosen at random to take a survey. Sounds like a bunch of bull to me.
Idaho Health & Welfare, conducting a "Behavior Risk Factor Surveillance Survey" or BRFSS together with CDC. Gave two #'s, 877-309-3040 and above. The caller provided a name of "Christopher Murphy with H&W as Survey Director", and web address of "www.cdc.gov/BRFSS" to check out. The website does appear to be legit, however; I will not answer any of the questions even if this is genuine. I did call the local H&W office, they were not aware of such a survey being conducted. The calls have come four nights in a row near 9pm, and just now about 1pm this afternoon. No message left except for last evening.
I get called by them up to 3 times a day! I don't care who contracts with them or for what reason! They don't respond to any method I've tried to get them to quit calling. I'm thinking my next step will be to file a nuisance or harassment report with the FCC.
I've been getting too many calls from this number at home and now one at work. They don't leave a message and calls are getting annoying. What do they want??

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.
