Do you have a small dog?

I was asked if I own a small dog and I said "[***]"...then it hung up...annoying. They've called all week.

Got the call, 10:30 in California. The theory that they just want you to say yes is a very bad one. Those scams don't use a question that most people will say no to. I noticed that 2 posts back and a few others mentioned a political related group. This is probably a political priming survey. They want to know in advance if a live person answers or a machine or if there is nobody answering. Why would they do this? We know it has been done before, it takes a long time to dial through numbers and wait for the rings. When its time to pull the trigger they want to be as effective as possible. Who has the money to do this? Corrupt public employee unions that want Uncle Sam to bail out their underfunded pensions, Sarah Palin hugging TEA party Yahoos, they all have plenty of money to bother us with this year. Happy election year!

I just received the same "small dog" call, they have been relentless! Calling two to three times a day, how can I get it to stop, anybody know??

I called and talked to Mike Chase. He claims he IS NOT THE OWNER OF THIS caller - "P30PLE RSPNZ" and stated he is going to come after whoever posted this false information. He sounded sincere and I would suggest people don't bother Mike Chase as he's likely innocent.

call every day once to 3 times. one ring and hang up. I use * 69 and always get message can't be contacted. Once or twice, however, I did get the 208 758 0218. checked it out and found 208 covers whole state of Idaho Tried to call telephone company they said marketers can dial any number of people at once and wait for one person to answer so rest of the calls are silent. don't know what to do. Reapplied to do not call in ny state. They toldme that after 31 days I can report the number so I'll try. There should be something people can do. 208 covers all of Idaho. Maybe there is a central consumer number in IdahoSomehow they also got my cell phone, WHICH I NEVER GIVE TO ANYONE EXCEPT TO FAMILY.n

There are exceptions to the do not call registry. Charities and political organizations can still contact you. Also, any entity that you do business with can also contact you. For instance, my long distance carrier is AT&T and they are legally allowed to telemarket to me (which they do, practically every day).I just received this call a couple of minutes ago. They disconnected as soon as I said I didn't have a small dog.

Same dog message. They call about every other day. I don't answer.
