I received a call from 214-283-1316 on 8-19-14 at 7:29 p.m. Eastern time. No one spoke when the phone was answered, they just hung up. By what I just saw in postings, it was a survey co.? I am on a no call list that was recently renewed by me once again, to be sure I was still on it because even though I'm on the list, calls still come in.

Marge, The phone number they use is not relevant. The company can not call you again if you ask to be removed. I have had telemarketers hangup as soon as I start to tell them to remove my number so they say they did not hear me. I suggest you write down the name of the company and report the name and number as soon as you get the call, even if you choose the "remove my number" option.

Getting calls from this number, caller ID "Wireless Caller" - no message, I don't answer.

People who make these calls, need to get something better to do, than harass people

I answered this one because sometimes legit calls come through as wireless caller. Immediate hangup. So, seeing how many reports there are here that this is a scam number, I'll be adding it to my block list.

Thank you posters for the heads up.This number is now added to the dreaded call blocker, this is the best defence & money best spent to rid of this kind of crap.NOTE / FYI: The DNC is a government run program, don't expect it to work efficiently.

Called our DNC registered landline on 09/23/2014 @ 06:42 PM from Dallas, TX. Caller ID shows Survey. We don't answer callers we don't know. No message was left.I have Blacklisted this number. If this number calls again it will be registered to Caller ID history, but the phone will never ring.
