JUST got a call from 214-382-4871. They're a debt collector but, since I just got a new phone # & have gotten calls from other debt collectors looking for some guy named Alexander, I called them back, told them I just got this # & I didn't know this guy. They quickly took my # off their list. Supposedly. We'll see.

JUST got ANOTHER call from this company after telling them nicely that I just got my # & I don't know the person they're looking for. Time to call BBB, Do Not Call, FTC & other agencies. Tired of them !

PROCOLLECT THEY ARE A COLLECTION AGENCY OUT OF TX THEY COLLECT FOR APARTMENTS mobile home parks etc for rent and or lease payments that are stilled owed!!! COMPANIES ALL OVER THE US USE THEM!!!

It Is ProCollect, a debt collection agency. They have been calling me for some time asking about a lady who had my cell phone # before me. I guess they bought this debt from a previous agency, who had, in turn bought the debt from someone else. Because I told the previous two companies that I " was not the droid they were looking for". I just called back and they told me they will remove the number. We'll see

It's not a scam, they are actual creditors that work our of Dallas, TX. My previous landlord uses them to collect on rent that has not been paid, but they aren't willing to work with you in any way. I know they are actual creditors because their name, address and contact information was on the credit report. Best way to get them to stop calling is by letting them know that the person they are trying to reach is no longer the person at the end of that phone number.

Got a call from this number, called them back. I actually got a person. It's a collection agency that collects for outstanding medical bills etc. The company name is Procollect and there are located in Dallas area. I did block the number.
