I called back because I have family in the Dallas area where the 214 area code is used ... a "please wait while I connect your call" recording played and then music played for one or two minutes and then the line was silent ... I never spoke with anyone. I get calls like this several times a day on my cell phone, but they are usually 877, 847, or 322 numbers.
this number called at 10:30 pm strange music no answer when called back. I use to live near dallas and did alot of business transactions there for hiusing for the elderly. moved to ny to raise kids and away from the rat race. they called back again 2 mins later andwoke the kids thanks you a!? hole. do not call again
Caller called at 5am threatening me, name calling, etc. Said his name was Steve Jobs and was from my town. I called the police and made a tele. hass. charge, so if you find out who this person is call the wv state patrol and they will have it on record of what town it accured in.
I work at Vonage as a technical support rep. This phone number is showing up on a customers OB caller ID and is intermittently the actual person calling. other times when answered its some guy or a telemarketing company. trying now to find out what it is. the number shows as International, 214-586-0999.

i have been geting this call the last two weeks. i do not understand how it work. When called back an automated voice told "Please wait while I connect your call" followed by long music. i know one thing 214 is the area code of dallas.i have hard time with this call. they call me 4-5 time a day

I just got a phone call from this number. After reading this blog, I called my dad in Mexico and he told me he'd just barely called me. It seems that this number might be a routing number from AT&T since that's the service my dad has down there. If anybody gets another phone call, make sure to ask if the long distance company is AT&T.

Received 2 calls/voicemails on 10/22/25 from different people at this number claiming to be with Fortitude Assistance and Fortitude Systems re: possible jobs in IT departments. Sounds questionable. I'm not in that industry so makes no sense.
Daily calls, no messages
This number had my name, address, and the amount of money I owed for a medical procedure (but had already paid) and said they were calling to collect it before it went to court. I told her I'd do it online, and low and behold I have already paid it.

Suspected scam: voice sounded generated; said if notice hasn't been received by mail to call 844-604-2863.
Suspected scam. Voice sounded AI and mentioned a noncompliance notice. Stated if notice not received by mail to call this number.
This phone called yesterday at 11:34.
It started out saying it was a survey. I didn't' listen beyond that, other than to hit 9 to be removed from their call list, then I blocked thr number on my phone.

I was called about 7:50 pm. I hung up when he said my first name. My phone said this is potential scam. I believe that’s correct.
