My brother has a checking account with Capital One, and a girl from there phoned me and left a voicemail. My phone number goes to a cell and I don't appreciate getting these cals and messages. Why would they call me? It isn't even my account.

That's funny cell phone is a 904 number. I posted an ad on Craigslist when I was looking for a room mate. I wonder if they are getting the numbers off of craigslist ads.

I got a called twice from 233-987-5200 asking for "Joann". The first time I told them there was no one by that name. The second time I asked what number they were trying to reach and it was my number. I live in Wisconsin and bank with Anchor Bank. I say this because previous posts mentioned similar situations.

I have gotten two phone calls from this number and two calls from 2249875001 but I don't answer if I do not know the number... After reading this I decided to see if they'd talk and they just hang up. It's a new cell phone and I live in florida

I never had or applied for a line of credit with applied bank but these calls keep coming and they wont stop. So the way I see it I guess I'll just have to open up an account with them and never pay it. At least they will have a legit reason to call me now. Phuk em

I have recieved 4 calls today from this number when I try to call back no one answers or it is a busy signal BBB said it is an international call

the area code 223 is assigned to the republic of mali according to international area code search.they also use 223-987-5001

MAN This number is a real pain in the butt I live in Michigan and get this stupid call all the time...I wish I could speak to someone as I have plenty to tell them!!!

Keep getting missed calls from this number (I don't pick up since I don't recognize the number). They never leave a message either. Strange. Also annoying.
