The number 223-987-5200 appeared on caller ID. Did not answer because I did not recognize the number. www.yellowbook.com and other reverse number lookup sites came back with invalid area code. There was one one site that wanted $14.95 to tell me who the number belonged to according to public records.

this number 1-223-987-5200 and 1-223-987-5001 call my phone leave no message and they call everyday at least twice a day. i dont answer because it is a unknown caller. i wish they would quit calling me.

They keep calling and it is upsetting. They are calling all hours.

Called from the same.. and they did leave a message to call back #800-335-0872, which is the collection agency MRS & Associates

It is from applied bank. I talk to them and they call me back 10 minutes later. I answer and talk to them, they still call back. In the last 30 minutes I have received 5 calls.

You can register, but it don't help. The 223 area code is for a collection company or some other type of company and they are exempt

I wonder about the cell number access also. I bought a phone, they were calling within 2 days

This is the first one I have received from a 223 area code. I never answer calls if I don't know the number. 05-19-08 8:30am, followed immediately by a call from area code 916.

Received a call on May 19, 2008 at 9:51 CDT (-05:00 GMT). When I answered, they hung up. No follow-up calls. The phone they called is an unlisted cell number.I called back, blocking my number, and got an error message that call couldn't go through as dialed.
