Looks like this is hitting Colorado. You can call you local telephone company and ask for the Annoyance Bureau to report the number.

i personally feel it might be from someone trying to clone your phone or trying to steal the card data off of it...

I actually recieved a call from the number in question 2239875200.I'm actually in ILLinois and recieved that call, as most of you are from the south, when they call again I will answer and share what happened.

We just got our phone hooked up on Friday and I've received a call from this number everyday since!! They keep asking for Christopher. I told them no Christopher lives here and we just got this phone number a couple of days ago. Obviously this isn't his number anymore. She didn't seem to "understand" so I'll probably keep getting calls. I did register with the national do not call list. We live in Texas.

They call every day,even Sunday @9am and 5pm. They never leave a message of any kind. After they call the house then they call My wife's cell. If it is from Applied bank, we do not owe them. I feel that it is some kind of scam. Maybe a phone clone.How are they getting cell phone numbers and how are they getting past the DO NOT CALL.

I have received about 10 calls from +2239875200. Today I answered and he asked for Jackie Robinson. Said he was calling from a bank in India and trying to collect a debt.

I just received a call from this number to. They called twice I didn't answer. I think they've called before, that's why I started looking on the internet to find information, and I came across this page here. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one.

I am tired of these people calling from +2239875200. I am happy to know that it is Applied Bank and I do in fact have an account with them but I made my monthly payment on the day it was due Dec 15th so why have they been calling since a week after...It is irritating and I am not behind, so it doesn't make sense that they call all the time. Its a bunch of crap and Applied Bank should have their own US Collectors that know the Law and wouldn't dare harrass someone like this.

Received a phone call from this as well, though they were looking for my mother. I didn't give them her number. This happened a few months ago as well, but the caller claimed they were from Chase, not Applied Bank. I suggest folks register with the Do Not Call National Registry.Also, when I called back the 877 the woman gave me, a doctor's office voice mail picked up...Total scam.

That's weird. Jackie Robinson is a famous, deceased baseball player...
