Same thing. No message. Doing reverse lookup it is a landline from Waterloo, Ontario. Must be telemarketer.
I just got this phone call on my Rogers cell in Manitoba. I picked up abd no one answered and shortly hung up.
It is not their mandate to protect our privacy. The CRTC will only get involved if Rogers, Bell or Telus were somehow losing money on this. They are out to protect big companies, not regular people.
Now that I know its a telemarketer, just added this number the black list to my call control App. Won't be bothered by them anymore. Neat little App, once added to the black list, if they call again the app pick up the phone and then hangs up, can't leave a message.
