Missed call from this number today at 11:20am Mountain time on my Chatr phone

Called at 9.09am on Bell Mobility network. I didn't answer. No v.mail left.

I too ignored call I rec'd from this no. Infuriating that someone uses my cell no. for unrequested business and/or often scam type calls. Called cell provider...DO NOT ANSWER was thier reply glad I just hung up on them.

Saw the # and decline the call.. did a google and found his thread! Added this number as Spam contact with Last name Don't Pickup.

got a call in ontario just now.

I received a call at 10:25 am to my mobile in the 778 area code ... one ring and no message left. I believe they're identifying valid subscriber numbers and IDs, hanging up after hearing a voice mail system. For this reason alone, I've removed my surname from my announcement.Fido is inexpensive, but I wish they'd provide Call Block. The only alternative appears to be to install an app such as Norton Security, which routes blocked numbers to one's voice mail.It's become very easy for telemarketers to dial numbers sequentially or from a managed list. They don't even need to arrange subscriber accounts with a telco; they can simply subscribe to dozens of Skype subscriber numbers for a few dollars per month per subscribed line with number. Skype is easy to automate with software, and is virtually untraceable by other telcos when accessed via an offshore Internet proxy account.
