I received a call from this number also and he left a message his name is Rick Morgan and he gave me a number to call him back at 1-800-676-9314. I think this is a scam also. He said the same thing about a new program for reducing the credit card payments and he was acting like we have talked several times...
they probably have a list of numbers and if you threaten to turn them in then they probably cancel the account and move onto a new number to use. Its practically impossible to tract. more than likely from some god forsaken country where laws are foresaken. Just don't answer any calls you don't recognize. Look up the number here to see if its a telesales calls. Its unfortunate that they can get away with this and we have no way to block. Phone companies probably don't do anything cause its money in their pockets. We the cell owner are screwed.

Got a call today from this number on my brand-new 408-area-code AT&T cell phone. Did not answer.
I just got a call from this number (but didn't pick up), but out of curiousity, called back. only thing is, the response was "the number you are calling has been disconnected". Since I get all sorts of calls from weird or unknown or withheld numbers, i don't pick up anymore and just google it or go to this website. Glad to know Im not the only victim of these scammers! BTW, if this is a credit card scam, I do not own any credit cards.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
