Just got a call from these people on my Google Voice number. They didn't leave a message. Glad I saw this page before I called back.

I just got a call from 12282098325 and did not pick it up because I didn't recognize the number. Googled it and it brought me here. I see that I am not the only victim. They didn't leave a voice message and that's how I know it wasn't an important call.

Called me, I did answer, they hung up after I said hello twice...I called back and they said number was disconnected. I really appreciate this website.

same thing here. I didn't even bother calling back. Found this site right away. Thanks for all your comments guys, it saved me a decent amount of frustration.

Unwanted Call

I received a call from (228)209-8325 on my cell phone..When I answered the call I was hung up on..I called the number back and at 1st it rang as busy..I called it again and heard a message saying the phone number was disconnected..Definitely sounds fishy to me..

1-228-209-8325 just called me but I didn't answer. Called back and got a busy signal. Obviously it's a scam.

I just got the call while I was working out. When i tried to call back, it beeped and said the number has been disconnected. I have no ideas how they got my cell phone number. I came home and googled it right away and found this site.

This call center runs a number of scams, the credit card debt scam being the most common, but they also run a scam targeting small businesses, offering to help them get "free" grant money from the government. Usually they will never give out any information about themselves, but this call was different. The recording stated an address and phone number, as well as a company name- maybe they just got in trouble for violating these requirements for telemarkters under the TCPA. This caught me off guard so much that I had trouble writing it all down in time, so I might have some wrong numbers here:Company Funds (likely a fake name)3087 Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas, NV (no zip given- on google maps 3087 W is the only non-residential looking place, but none of the buildings are off of Warm Springs Rd, so, likely a fake address or I got it wrong...)877.493.8677There seem to be a lot of fishy sounding companies using this same address (Real Properties Management Group, 1800CHEAPSEATS, The Corporation People).

They called my cell phone, and I never give my cell number to credit card companies. How did they get it?? I called back, it said it was out of service.
