just missed a call from this number. didnt recognize it so i looked up the area code before i tried calling back and found this site. glad i didnt answer.
they call and set a record voice. I called back and did not answer; It says they are not longer in service or the phone is disconnected.They call every day!! annoying!!
castlerock -Your comments show how much you pay attention. "Trickle down" economy is the Republican rationale for giving tax cuts to the rich. The theory being that they will spend more (as if they had spending inhibitions) and the money would trickle down to the less than rich. It didn't work in the 80's. I just answered a call from this number. It was a robo-call in another language so I don't know what they were selling. Most likely the displayed number was spoofed.

Just received a call at 5:03PM this afternoon. As soon as I asked about what credit account they were referring to the woman calling abrubtly hung up the phone. Tried to call back and got the number disconnected message. Sounds to me we have some wonna be "Bernie Madoff" types here!
They called my phone at 4:08 pm (8/14/09) I didn't hear my cell ringing so I missed it I called back at 6:05 p.m. and got a recording saying it was disconnected. I hope they do not call back.

Received a call from 1-228-209-8325 on my cell phone which I do not know how they got my number. My number is pre-paid cell and only a few have my number. Called back and this person wanted to know my financial situation. I told him call my attorney at********* and to not call me again. This is a scam for identity theft or just a big SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! I did report it to the FTC. Hope they get these low lifes.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
