Called and left message. Said it was related to SSN being compromised.

my social has been used in illegal activity. well I am the only one using it. I hung up.

I repeat please press one to speak to the office right away.

Phone rang, I picked up with business salutation. Dead air on other end, left phone off hook until I got the "please check your number and try again" message. Hung up.

I just got another call reduce intrest on my credit card and no name why do they getaway with this?

Just got a call from a similar number, 234-567-8910. Sent it to voicemail, didn't leave a message.

Call from 1-234-567-8900, Nov 15-08, voice recording from Rachel, asking to take advantage of reducing rate of interest on credit card. Press 1 to speak to an agent and 3 to have telephone number removed. Previous call same thing and pressed 3, this did not stop caller. Pressed 1, transferred to a live person identified from J. P. something? and asked the number calling from. I asked them to stop calling and hung up. I guess we'll see.

Just got 2 calls within an hour from this number. No one is there when I answer. I won't answer again after reading these posts.
