Stop calling !!!!

Picked up the line and it just crackles. We did that reverse look up thing and it comes back as the number is a landline in Salem, OH

Recorded message saying that it was an urgent call from my credit card company. It did not say the name of the credit card company. It continued to say that it is urgent that I call back. I did not wait for a call back number. I hung up.

I got a call from this number today at my place of business. I was with a client so I could not pick up the call. I to did not recongizine the number and when I called it back I got a busy signal. Hopefully this/these people will get caught in the act.

Keep getting calls from this number- nobody is ever there, always some static noise and then disconnects

Call from on # then another ,up to ten # s a hr or day,just to spit and hang up or just hang up.

Got this one on answering machine yesterday again, no message just a hang up.

This number has shown up on my cell phone too many times...(one is too many). Please tell me something can be done about stopping this kind of activity.

Pre-recorded message about my non-existent credit cards coming in to my WORK phone number. I get so many of these calls a week it's criminal. I've been reporting most of them on this site. I "opt out" every single time I get one of these calls. This does NOTHING to stop the calls. Opting out to these scam artists only means that this phone number won't call you. They'll continue their harrassment from another number....they lease them by the hundreds. I want to know who is falling for their line of BULL? I mean, if NO ONE falls for it....then why would they continue to try? There must be alot of very gullible people out there being scammed every single day in order for these thieves to remain "in business". It's not like they have to fear consequences...it's clear the FCC isn't doing ANYTHING about them!!! You would THINK law enforcement would want to catch these crooks. Nope...

Pre-recorded message about my non-existent credit card accounts. I've opted out of this call before, same number. The recording promises that they won't be calling me again. HAH!!! I've begun a log of unwanted calls at work and at one for at home. I did research last night on some of the calls at home and found cause to file complaints with the FCC on four of the numbers. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list (have been since it's inception) and now I'm on a mission. These losers HAVE TO BE STOPPED!!
