recording said that it was an offer to reduce my credit card interest rate. it was my final notice, so i had to act now. Call was from Ohio and I am in Canada

at PST 8:5?...the first call. at 9:01 the second call. picked up on 1st. call, silence , no voice or sound. didn't pick up on 2nd. call. no msg. left on either call.

They called but I did not pick up. They left no message. I guessed it was a prank call from that program where you can enter in any number to show up on caller ID.

I'm also getting calls from 1(234)567-89 and it says it's from the United States. I did not answer it.

i get calls from this number too i gets very annoying after a while, do people not realise you can go on the internet and find out who or what has been annoying you

this number is obviously a false one, intended to mask the real source, as it is 1234567890. when i answered i got a recording talking about 'your account' and this being my last chance to lower interest rates on my card account. i am on the do not call list, not to mention the fact that no credit card company would call with such an offer. when i stayed on the line, nothing happened until the call was disconnected. calling back yields a busy signal. i have been getting a lot of these bogus calls lately, talking about interest rates and car warranties and last chances. when i answer and get a live person, i ask what company they are calling from, or which car they are calling about. they hang up on me when i don't go for their scam. i think they want to steal information so they can perpetrate identity theft.

I hate these types of calls, I get them at work just about everyday. How in the world can we stop these jerks from calling? On www.whitepages.com the name comes up as Bob F. Boobers, how orginal!

why would any one bother to even write about a number like this, look at the # on caller I.D. if you do not know it let it ring, they will go away, why call back at all makes no sence to me thats why you have caller i.d.
