calls from this number here in Saskatchewan Canada are offering some free boarding pass, and to press <9> to claim my prize. No other option to get to a live rep. No clue where the number is located, but I'm not calling it back. But they call my home, they call my cell. UGH!
the call started with "Hi this is..." the recorded message went on about "My Account" and said that if I dialled "1" I'd get a live operator. I dialled it, a young guy answered and said, hello this is Charles... and then I heard him hang up the receiver, so this is a low tech company calling using only the cheapest equipment. I don't know who these people are, but they've been calling for a very long time and I'm tired of it - no company name given -> cowards!!!!
I got a call from 1-234-567-8900 telling me that "the police consider this your final notice". It actually scared me until I realized that 234 is NOT a valid area code! It seems that they are upping their tactics! But calling Bell and reporting this seems to be a good idea.
