Recorded message on Call Answer service, "Please consider this oour final notice..........

Calling me all day long sometimes within 15 minutes over a week of this. Calls are on my cell number. I answered and told her I am on the no call list and to quit calling me. I hung up on her. This is annoying as hell something needs to be done about this. I have not seen any solutions on this.I have read a lot of complaints on this and on different numbers calling also. What help can we get on this?

Voicemail from boiler room, caller slurred words (may have been saying "hello") and eventually hung up. UNKNOWN NAME on Caller ID even though Verizon is supposedly blocking anonymous calls to this number.

Me, good job on trying to get information, but I agree with Homer that these guy are probably making up an official sounding name. It is likely that the NFA group are not the one making the call. But you could call the NFA group and describe the phone call you received and from their response discern if they are indeed cold calling. If it is not them, they should be concerned that someone is falsely using their name and want more information.

I received a call yesterday then another one today, so today I pretended as though I was interested & asked for the company name, she told me JPM Accelerated....so I googled it, found this number 1-877-701-9090, called requesting to be taken off their list & the receptionist said it would be done by the end of the day. Not sure if she's telling the truth but it's worth a try.

First of all, caller ID shows it as "unknown" but, when I look at the log, I get this number. This again is the same credit scam as before. I pressed one and got thru to a person. When I told him I "do not want anymore calls"!, he hung up on me. Nice, I guess that must happen to him alot. It's funny, I signed up with Cogeco to not receive soliciting calls. Guess what, it doesn't work!!!

accent was so strong I could not understand this guy. I kept asking why he was calling and he couldnt get it out in English well enough for me to understand so I told him he has a problem and I hung up.

I just got a new cell number 2 weeks ago and as of last week these people have been calling back to back. They called this morning at 5am. Initially, the number would show "Restricted" or Unavailable", as of Monday, is shows 234-56-78. When I answer it immediately hangs up. Now, I just hit the ignore button
