I think David's Bridal did this to me! I never got telemarketing phone calls and NOW. . . after registering with David's Bridal, I get 5-8 calls on a daily basis from 239-603-7238! Every time I picked up, they would hang up. I finally decided to pick up to see what was all this random calling was about. A man said I was entered into a million dollar sweepstake by my CREDIT CARD company. I was one of the TOP finalist. He asked me my age, income, occupation, and which credit card I used the most. I FEEL STUPID! He tried to sell me magazines and I said I don't want any. He immediately HUNG UP!!! I am going to keep a close watch on all my credit cards and accounts.

This number has called my fiancee' phone several times, if it happens again, I will come to naples and find you.

On my caller id before I'm about to delete it says that the call is from Fort Myers, Fl?

I too have signed up for David's Bridal and these calls will not stop.. Has anyone figured out how to get them to stop?

I didn't even sign up for David Bridal and I keep getting these calls as well. I called it back and they have a machine that says to remove your number press 1.. Maybe it will work. who knows but it is really getting old!

I managed to get ahold of an assistant; requested to have my number removed from their calling list. The operator agreed and hopfully she did so. I personally don't know what good it did but I guess I will find in short order.

I got a call this morning (3/2) from 239-603-7238 saying I was a finalist for winning a million dollars. I told her I didn't recall signing up for this contest. She said it might have been thru a survey. Hmmmm. I asked what their website was & they don't have one. Hmmmmm. She said I get some free magazines. I told her no, thank you. She was polite & said they will contact me if I won before they come here to give me the money. Yeah, right... I'm not sure where they got my info from since I did not sign up for anything at David's Bridal, which most of the posts have in common. I did do a survey on Total Beauty website recently though.

The caller told me that I am definitely a finalist in the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes, then started asking me personal information like age, marital status, number of children. In the background, it sounded like a call center. I said "over 21", did say I use visa most, but said I do not answer personal information over the phone. No mention of David's Bridal, so perhaps people are just guessing that their information may have been passed on by David's.

I've also recently registered at David's Bridal & received TOO MANY calls from this #!!! I also started receiving calls from (706) 403-4792. The (706) # was a Publisher's sales rep. saying I was in the running for a $25,000 sweepstakes & tried to get me to sign up to pay for magazines. I told them I wasn't interested & the (706) # has since quit calling but not the (239) #!!!! Everytime this # calls there is no one on the other side & eventually the call hangs up! IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!
